She died Nov. 12, 2008, at Weatherford. She grew up and attended school in Rufe. She was married to Haskell Jenkins on Nov. 17, 1947. They resided in the Valliant area where they raised three children. Ellen moved to Oklahoma City and then to Alaska where she spent seven years. In the late 1960&rsquo;s she moved to Granite before moving to the Carter area. <BR>She was preceded in death by her parents; three sons, Johnny Jenkins, Jerry Jenkins and Scott Joyner; and one brother, Carl Austin.<BR>Survivors include three daugh-ters, Jeannie Brooks of Fairbanks, Alaska, Barbara Fields of Ft. Smith, Ark., and Tonya Trudeau of Vacaville, Calif.; 11 grandchildren, one great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.<BR>Condolences can be made online at www.whineryfs.com.<BR><BR><BR></SPAN> </div></td></tr></table></table>
