She was born Nov. 12, 1939, in Tescumbia, Ala., the daughter of Clyde and Irene (McIntire) Pugh. <BR>She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Leo-nard Davis; second husband, John Richardson; and husband, Larry Leonard; two brothers, W.J. Pugh and Arnold Lee Pugh; and one infant daughter, Debra Davis.<BR>Effie enjoyed sewing, flower gardening, canning, folk art and craftwork, camping and spending time with family and friends. Her family and friends will re-member her for her great sense of humor. <BR>Effie is survived by two sons, Steve Davis, Eagletown and Al-vin Davis, Ashdown, Ark.; one daughter, Peggy Wood, Dallas, Texas; two sisters, Barbara Pugh, Lancaster, Calif., and Alice Faye Pugh, Fresno, Calif.; two broth-ers, Edward Wayne Pugh, Lan-caster, Calif., and Clyde Pugh, Knoxville, Tenn.; ten grandchil-dren, eight great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephew and friends.<BR>Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008, at Eagletown Cemetery in Eagle-town. Bro. Tommy McCaig will officiate.<BR>The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Brumley Funeral Home, Broken Bow.<BR></SPAN> </div></td></tr></table></table>
