He was born Nov. 5, 1943, at Idabel, the son of Cecil and Cassie Wright Moon. <BR>Haskell worked as a mechanic, pipeliner, truck driver, and enjoyed his work very much. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. Haskell was affiliated with the Forest Hill Baptist Church, and was a resident of McCurtain County for the past 20 years. <BR>He was preceded in death by his parents. <BR>Haskell is survived by his wife, Shirley Y. Moon of the home; son and daughter-in-law, George Haskell &ldquo;Bubba&rdquo; Moon Jr. and Tonya of Bayfield, Colo.; daughter, Melissa K. Moon of Idabel; grandchildren, Dylan Scott Moon and Dusty Shane Moon both of Clarksville, Texas; a sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and Charlie Rhame of Lufkin, Texas; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.<BR>Services will be on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2008, at 2 p.m. at the Conley-White Chapel in Idabel with Bro. John Maye officiating.
