She passed from this life to be with her Lord on Nov. 11, 2008, at Muskogee Regional Medical Center. <BR>Carolyn married Larry Oxford on March 28, 1983, in Clarks-ville, Texas. During their 25-year marriage, they resided mostly in the Tahlequah area. Carolyn lived her life as a Homemaker; she spent the last couple of years fighting the greatest battle of all, cancer. She was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Stilwell where she dedicated her life to the Lord. <BR>Some of Carolyn&rsquo;s favorite pastimes included, going shop-ping or catching a movie with her best friend Sandy Paulsen. Also, spending time with her family, seeing the ocean and just going on a Sunday drive any day of the week with her husband Larry.<BR>Carolyn is preceded in death by her father, Clarence Vinyard.<BR>Carolyn leaves behind to cher-ish her memory, husband Larry Oxford; their only son, Dustin Oxford and girlfriend Emily Powell of Tahlequah; mother, Koleta Goss of Tahlequah; sister, Peggy Jackson and husband Chester of Tahlequah; brother, Brian Vinyard and wife Lorinda of Valliant; nephew, Joel Jackson and wife Desarae of Tahlequah; nephew, Mark Jackson and wife Brittoney of Tahlequah; neph-ews, Dakota, Montana and Bran-don Vinyard of Valliant; nephew, Brandon Quinn and niece Stephanie Williford of Welling; father and mother -in- laws, Dale and Iva Jane Oxford of Welling; sister-in-law, Lori Lofton and husband Jim of Stilwell; sister-in-law, Lea Oxford and Joe Wil-liford of Welling, Leland Smith of Tahlequah, and a host of friends and relatives.<BR>Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14 at Hart Funeral Home with Terry Tatum officiating. Interment will follow at Tahle-quah City Cemetery. Pallbearers include: Joel Jackson, Mark Jackson, Dakota Vinyard, Mon-tana Vinyard, Brandon Vinyard, and Lonnie Hammond.
